Summer in Delhi

Summer has set in, heralding the beginning of scorching days in Delhi. Days are merciless in this part of the country. The sun's fury is feared by human's and animals alike and there is very little you can do to fight the heat outside, except for seeking shelter inside the cool comforts of your home.

Feel like packing up my bags and travel to the hills looking for some cool breeze. To my mind, one of the most beautiful hills that I can go is kasuali. Something magical about this land...

Sensitivity is such a common word these days. As a matter of fact these days we are bombarded with words galore. We need to be sensitive, understanding, loving and caring and what not. I think sensitivity is the mother of many of human emotions. I rate myself as a sensitive man. Why I can't trust myself?

Dear life, Why is it so difficult to trust oneself and be confident about ones on abilities.In my own case, I think I find it difficult to believe that I am good in anything. This is so far from truth . People come to me with so many questions about their issues . I am able to tell them exactly what has been their problem. But when it comes to myself , things look different. I ask myself “why?” Does this happen to you .? I guess we can solve most of the problems of the world However when it comes to our own issues , we get bogged down.. we don’t trust enough. It so happened that last month an exhuberent 30s something chap came to my office to see me . I was really hard pressed for time, as I had a flight to catch in the evening. However one of my dear friends had insisted that I meet him, and hence reluctantly I did meet him exactly for 30 minutes . He came to me with one question . Friends In the year 2008 I have realised the importance of health. Nothing should/could be more important than a proper physical and mental health conditions. Since the last 6 months I have been attending the Sivananda Yoga Institiute located in Dwarka. I am into this power yoga for about 90 minutes , 4 times a week and the resluts have been stupendous.
