Happy in the hills
Day 2 in Kolli hills I wake up to a rooster 🐓 or perhaps a peacock calling in the distant hill. The sharp call accentuated by silence all around woke me from my slumber in my beautiful hotel named Silverline Resorts. This hotel, situated in a hill top has friendly staff and well appointed rooms. I am at work , but the mornings are mine to savour . With this thought , I freshen up and walk towards the open area outside. Life is in the open. I tell myself . The forest beyond is serene. It seems mysterious to me as if it knows things that I have no clue about. Silence , serenity and mystery can be an attractive combination . I savour the morning bliss. The Wound
Of late there is a strange kind of laceration that we can see all around us. This wound is at its embroytic stage. However the puss from this disease is seeping out steadily. There is a foul smell already. The wound is deeping day by day and is infecting other body parts. The stench from the bleed and wound is toxic, putrid and gets down your spine. Nobody has any respite from it, though some of us pretend to or actually run pass the way. The puss has some of the world's most decayed ingredients, substances which have always been abhored by men and women alike. Ladies and Gentlemen, this laceration, this deadly wound is the fanatic intolerance that is raising its head around us. Somewhere in Kerala, a person's arms have been severed by people who did not believe in what he did. This is grotesque, brutal and calls for immediate condemnation by all and action by people who have the authority to take action. Just came across your blog while checking on some info abt dhaulchina. I plan on visiting the place as part of an office outing. We plan on staying at the binsar eco camp there. Would really appreciate of u could advise on how the place is and what the wather is like since I see that u visited this place this month itself.
